this is to WARN anyone whos looking to BUY a new property from this developer ELPHINSTONE CUNNING PARK AYR , think twice .
speaking from EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AND ITS STAFF ON ANOTHER DEVELOPMENT please be very wary of there CLAIMS on entry dates , and quality of the final product on offer ,
they will tell you ANYTHING to get YOUR money then leave you hanging with a property that more then likely is far less VALUE than you bought it for AND MOST CERTAINLY NOT BE WHAT YOU EXPECTED QUALITY WISE with varying faults and total hassle dealing with it to get sorted .
they never reply to letters to head office and are very unprofessional to deal with just ask others who`ve bought from them and really regretted it ...look at there website and see the other sites and go along and speak to owners about it !
this isnt a hoax or an attention seeker its someone giving a friendly warning to you or your friends if you dont want to lose 1000s !
if you ARE buying a property from this development / developer elphinstone /cunning park ayr I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO
get your solicitor to have in the offer contract, a set latest entry DATE you are moving in, around 6 months AFTER the builder says it will be ready .....just to give them the benifit of the DOUBT and if it passes you get your deposit back or they are liable for YOUR renting costs & storage costs etc
ON ENTRY DATE
advise getting in a home checker / inspector to check everything make sure thay have issued a eletrical safety certificate , boiler certificate etc and makE sure it all works .make sure everything is in order ...
once again this is a genuine warning and i dont do this lightly , ive learnt the hard way WITH A LOSS ON RENTING , STORAGE AND SELLING A PROPERTY OVER A YEAR BEFORE WE GOT IN AFTER THEY LIED TO US , THE DEVELOPMENT, EVERY FLAT HAS HAD MAJOR ISSUES - I KID YE NOT !!! ..........91 FLATS !!!
i have wasted /lost 1000s due to this company not doing what i and others expected as a final product, simple things like being WINDOWS NOT BEING wind and water tight , boiler NOTworking , damaged surfaces , scratched glass, FAULTY doors , feeble security , tiles not staying on walls , tv ariel not working ,electrics NOT working , mono bloc sinking after a few vehicle going over it , NOT having a damp proof on the building to keep rain out ( yes ! ) not to much to ask for spending near on 300k is it ??
